Is your CORE method going to be a Mel Bay publication?
Will you be selling it through your e-store?
Thanks, Joe

I doubt it will be Mel Bay. Even though they are a great company to work with, it seems as though there time line for printing and distribution is too long. I might talk to them in January about it, but I have other options that I am investigating. You can, however, buy a "beta" version for $25.00 by "sending money", through paypal, to mike@michaeldimin.com. That incudes shipping.
BTW, if you email me your avatar, I might be able to put it up for you
Thanks Mike |

Mike,
Thanks for the offer to post an avatar for me. I haven't given much thought to what I might use as my avatar. Let me think about it a little bit. Does the image have to be a certain size?

Hi Mike,
I just joined your forums here after reading a thread you responded in over at TB concerning your new method. I am very interested in checking it out. I just wanted to be certain the method to obtain it ceurrently is to PayPal you $25. If that is still true, than I'll send you the money toot-sweet. :)

| Yeah, me too. I'm interested. Let me know if this is still available. Sounds exactly what I need at this point in my learning. I tend to over complicate things, and this might be the cure. |

Pruitt and Sean, Thanks for joining. You are correct - you can get the CORE Method by paypaling $25.00 to mike@michaeldimin.com. That includes Priorty Mail Shipping.
If anyone wants both The Chordal Approach and The CORE Method, paypal me $32.00 - again that will include shipping. If you also want a copy of my stunning CD, Big Droppins - make it $40.00.
My new CD, There Are No Accidents is best downloaded from your favorite music download site |

Quick question for you Mike...
Is there a way to snail mail you something like amoney order to get a copy of the C.O.R.E. method or can you go through something like bassbooks.com to provide copies independently?
I'd love to check out your C.O.R.E. method as I've been playing for quite some time now, and have never studied a "legit" method at all, and I'd like to take your teaching methods and apply it to what I do know, dont' know, want to know...
I have a copy of "The Chordal Approach" and it is wonderfully done, you make things that seem difficult and mysterious easy for a bass-simpleton like me!
All the best! Chris A |

Mike,
I just sent you my order for CORE and Chordal method books, can't wait for them to get here. What I was wondering is can both be worked on at the same time or should I work through one before the other.

The 2 books are very different. The CORE method is more about "normal" bass playing within the context of a band. The chordal approach is more about the solo approach to playing.
Mike
Ps your books are shipping first thing tomorrow
